Hundreds of miles of horseback riding trails are being developed on a large portion of 43,000 acres of reclaimed coal property that includes wooded trails, creek crossings and one of the trails even includes a cave. The Sutton Memorial Park is the trailhead to the annual spring and fall trail ride event. The 2009 dates for the Fall Trail Ride are October 2nd through the 4th.
Bring your horses and enjoy this wonderful event in the beautiful eastern
Kentucky mountains.
