This year’s Knott County Kentucky Spring Ground Poundin was a great success. A survey of some of those in attendance revealed riders came from West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, North Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, North Dakota, Minnesota, Kansas, California and the Kentucky counties of Jefferson, Kenton, Garrard, Pulaski, Greenup, Boyd, Rowan, Bath, Montgomery, Powell, Morgan, Johnson, Estill, Lee, Magoffin, Floyd, Pike Letcher, Perry and of course Knott.
Corporate sponsors this year included Toyota, can-am, Yamaha and Kenda Tire. Yamaha and can-am provided demo rides all weekend long which provided people an opportunity to try out different bikes and Toyota had four trucks on display. Destination Polaris arrived on Saturday and filmed a segment for their television show. Local sponsors on-site included Pikeville RV who had four campers on display, YPK Motorsportshttp://ypkmotorsports.com/ from Jackson KY and Andy’s Cyclehttp://www.andyscyclesales.com/ out of Hazard.
The Shriners were there too raffling off a Polaris Ranger 4 x 4.
